• Subscription status (handled by app stores)

Photo & Face Data

• Photos you explicitly select and upload for editing or AI image generation
• Face geometry data (facial landmark coordinates, face shape outline) derived from your photos during processing
• Skin analysis data (skin tone, texture attributes, blemish detection results) generated during processing
• AI-generated images based on your uploaded photos

BeautySnap does not access your full photo library. We only process photos you explicitly select. For detailed information about how face data is handled, please see Section 2: Face Data.

2. Face Data: Collection, Use, Disclosure, Sharing & Retention

2.1 What Face Data We Collect

When you use BeautySnap's photo editing or AI image generation features, the following face data may be derived from the photos you upload:

• Facial geometry data: facial landmark coordinates (e.g., positions of eyes, nose, mouth, jawline) and face shape outlines, used to identify and map facial features in your photo.
• Skin analysis data: skin tone values, texture attributes, and blemish detection results, generated by our AI models to apply beauty enhancements.

This face data is derived solely from the photos you explicitly select and upload. We do not use facial recognition to identify you or any other person, and we do not create face templates or faceprints for identification purposes.

2.2 How We Use Face Data

Face data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Applying AI-powered beauty enhancements (e.g., skin smoothing, blemish removal, face reshaping) to photos you upload
• Generating AI-created images based on your facial features
• Performing skin analysis to recommend or apply appropriate editing effects

Face data is never used for advertising, user profiling, facial recognition/identification, or any purpose unrelated to providing the App's core photo editing and AI generation features.

2.3 Third-Party Sharing & Disclosure

Your photos and face data are transmitted to Google Cloud servers solely for AI processing. Google Cloud acts as our data processor and processes your data only on our behalf and according to our instructions. Beyond this processing service:

• Face data is not sold to any third party.
• Face data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.
• Face data is not used by Google or any third party for their own purposes.

2.4 Data Storage

Your uploaded photos and derived face data are temporarily stored on Google Cloud servers during processing. Data is encrypted both in transit (TLS) and at rest on the server.

2.5 Data Retention & Deletion

Face data and uploaded photos are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours after processing is complete. We do not retain any face data beyond this period. Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide AI-powered beauty and photo editing features (see Section 2 for face data specifics)
• Generate AI images based on your uploaded photos
• Improve app performance and stability
• Manage subscriptions
• Respond to support requests

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• TLS encryption for all data transmitted between the App and our servers
• Encryption at rest for data stored on cloud servers
• Access controls limiting who can access processing infrastructure

However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

• Google Cloud: Cloud infrastructure used to process photos and face data for AI-powered editing and image generation. Google Cloud acts as a data processor on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes.
• Analytics services for app improvement (anonymized, no face data included)
• App Store / Google Play for subscription and payment processing

6. Data Sharing

BeautySnap does not sell personal data. Photos and face data are never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any unrelated third parties. Face data is only transmitted to Google Cloud for the sole purpose of providing the App's photo editing and AI generation services (see Section 2.3 for details).

7. Your Rights

• Request deletion of your data, including any face data
• Control app permissions (camera, photo library access)
• Manage subscriptions

8. Data Retention

Face data and uploaded photos: Automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours after processing is complete. No face data is retained beyond this period.

Account and preference data: Retained for as long as you use the App, or until you request deletion.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on Google Cloud servers located outside your country. Appropriate safeguards, including encryption and contractual protections, are applied.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App indicates acceptance.
